Today I went almost crazy because of automatic mounting and opening of the removable storage devices, fortunately this behavior can be quickly changed by the use of thunar-volman-settings command.
Alternative solution is to use the following command (result will the same as above one):
$ thunar-volman -c
You can enable or disable automatic mounting/opening of the removable storage devices and set additional parameters like custom commands after device is connected.
